Trust is the key to capturing authentic and emotional wedding moments. For us wedding photographers it is really important to build an optimal link with the bride and groom in front of our cameras. With Natalie and Rei we found a lot in common right from the beginning. We just felt comfortable with each other.
Natalie and Rei share our great love of travel, exploring different cultures and discovering hidden gems around the world. It is therefore no wonder that they chose one of the most spectacular locations in Italy for their wedding: the enchanting Isola del Garda on Lake Garda.

A Fusion Wedding with Italian Charm
Natalie and Rei come from opposite parts of the world. Natalie is originally from Lebanon, Rei is from Honduras. Their love story brought them together in Florida, United States. Their shared admiration for Italian culture and its beautiful landscapes inspired them to say "yes" in Italy. With the expert guidance of Alice from Italian Style Weddings, they brought their vision of a multicultural celebration to life.
We, Davide, Valentina and one of our assistants, had the privilege of documenting their love story in August 2024. From intimate moments to grand views, we captured their special wedding day on Lake Garda.
Starting the Day with a View of Lake Garda
In the morning we started with the preparation of the bride and groom in the beautiful Bellerive hotel with the breathtaking turquoise waters of Lake Garda in the background. The air was already full of excitement and emotion, creating a perfect atmosphere to capture the first and most beautiful moments of the day.
Wedding Ceremony in Toscolano Maderno
Natalie and Rei took their wedding vows in the church of San Pietro e Paolo, a hidden gem in the beautiful town of Toscolano Maderno, on the western shore of Lake Garda. With its frescoes and artwork by Venetian painter Andrea Celesti, the church was the perfect setting for such a significant moment.
After the ceremony, Natalie and Rei walked hand in hand down the aisle, greeted by applause from their family and friends. It was a moment of pure joy and, for sure, one of the most emotional moments we were able to witness and capture this day. This memory will remain with us forever.
Reception and Party in the Wedding Venue Isola del Garda
After the ceremony, the second part of the wedding was held on Isola del Garda, one of the most exclusive and enchanting wedding locations in Italy. Only a short boat ride from the mainland, this island feels like a hidden paradise. Privately owned by the Cavazza family, Isola del Garda is a place rich in history and natural beauty. Once a refuge for legendary figures such as St. Francis of Assisi, St. Anthony of Padua and Dante Alighieri, the island is now home to a 19th-century neo-Gothic Venetian villa. Surrounded by lush Italian and English gardens, it offers a magical setting for unforgettable celebrations and panoramic views of Lake Garda.
Aperitif and Romantic Couple Portraits
As soon as the boats docked at the island, the wedding guests were welcomed with an aperitif in the splendid loggia of the villa. The expansive gardens also provided a dreamy setting for us to take couple portraits of Natalie and Rei with our cameras.
We captured these moments in a modern editorial style, inspired by the timeless incredible island. The sunshine, combined with the use of backlighting and even flash photography, allowed us to create a contemporary wedding photos concept that further emphasized the couple's elegance and the charm of their surroundings.
A Day to Remember
After a night full of dancing, laughter and many touching moments, we left Garda Island in the early hours of the morning. We were tired, but certainly full of joy for an unforgettable day.
We owe a huge thank you to the incredible wedding planner Alice, whose attention to detail and care made everything perfect and magical. Of course, a big thank you also to Natalie and Rei for trusting us to capture their wedding day. We wish you both a lifetime of love, happiness and countless adventures together!
